 October 2011 Events
October 15, 11 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. – The 2nd Annual Brazilian Festival (presented by the Sister Cities Committee of Chesapeake) at Towne Place at Greenbrier will honor Chesapeake's Sister City, Joinville, Santa Catarina, Brazil. The festival celebrates all things Brazilian, from music to food to dance. Fun for kids and entertaining for adults. Food and other vendors will be on site. Admission is FREE.
Be sure to check out the silent auction. Among the many great items, there will be room nights at local hotels and two iPads!
Activities include:
- Capoiera Performance, a Brazilian art form combining elements of martial arts, sports and music.
